Privacy notice
Effective date: 30 October 2026 · Version 1.0
This notice covers the FORS customer product room and staff workspace at forstools.com/portal/ and work.forstools.com. The website operator is 义乌市丰莱科技有限公司. For privacy questions, complaints or information requests, contact jackie@forstools.com.
Information we use and why
- Account details: your name, company, country/region and email identify your business, support account review and let us contact you. A derived password value and necessary session cookies support sign-in; please never send your password in a message.
- Product enquiries and quotations: selected products, quantities, questions, drafts, enquiries, quotations and private business replies let FORS handle your request and let you continue later. Your selections are not a payment or an order.
- Security records: request times and identifiers, network addresses/ports, requested path, response status and browser/user-agent information help protect and investigate the service. Account identifiers and operation results link authorised activity to security records. The configured access-log format excludes request bodies, query strings, cookies and authorisation headers.
Access and service providers
Product-room access requires FORS approval. Customers use their own account; authorised FORS staff can access business requests needed to prepare replies and quotations. Private replies are not public comments or group posts.
The website uses Tencent Cloud hosting. If you email us, your correspondence also passes through business email services. This portal currently does not automatically write your enquiries into the existing Feishu business tables. We review this notice when data flows or providers change; you do not need to send identity documents or WeChat chat transcripts to register through this form.
How long we keep information
- We keep account and business information only while necessary for the service, follow-up, contractual duties, required record keeping or resolving a dispute. Ending access does not itself erase all associated business records.
- We review unconverted enquiries, quotations and selections five years after the last business contact. We retain information beyond that point only where a continuing purpose or required obligation makes it necessary; information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. This review does not automatically clear your records, and lawful correction or deletion requests are handled separately.
- Network security logs use a daily rotation policy with a 210-day maximum-age setting. The website is newly operating; this is a retention configuration, not a claim that six months of history already exist.
- Recovery copies have restricted access. A deletion or correction request must also be accounted for if a backup is later restored. Recovery copies are currently retained without automatic cleanup, under restricted access. Their retention is reviewed separately from business records; off-server recovery arrangements are still being finalised. This does not limit lawful information requests.
Your requests and complaints
Email jackie@forstools.com to request access or a copy, correction, deletion, account closure, or an explanation of information use, or to make a complaint. Tell us the account and request, not your password. The responsible operator checks your identity using the minimum information needed, decides and records the response. An assisting employee may help with communication but does not independently delete your information.
Requests are reviewed according to applicable law. Where required retention or a lawful exception prevents immediate deletion, we explain the reason and limit further processing as required. You may use available legal or regulatory complaint channels. The website currently has no self-service data-deletion or password-recovery function.
Protection and changes
We use HTTPS, account approval, role/customer access controls, derived password storage, restricted records and verified database recovery copies. These measures reduce risk; they cannot promise absolute security. We publish the revised version and effective date here when this notice changes, and provide additional notice or request consent when required.
